My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Macy is a 9 month old Belgian Malinois (possibly mixed with a Dutch Shepherd), who was living her life chained up to a tree in someone's front yard, along with her 3 siblings. She was confiscated by Animal Control and ended up in a Pasco County shelter, prior to coming in to our rescue. Macy spent a few weeks in our temporary holding place in Suwannee County and she is now in a foster home in Ormond Beach, FL.
She is a low confidence dog who is unsure of her surroundings and afraid of new environments, therefore she needs an adopter who has some knowledge and common sense when bringing her to a new home. She does not like dogs in her face right away although she is good with dogs (and cats) once she feels comfortable and truly loves playing with them when she's ready so a home with another playful dog would be great for her. Macy has a sweet and loving personality, she is very affectionate and will sit on your lap and cuddle with you or sleep in bed next to you, if you let her. She is housebroken and crate trained. Her adoption fee is $250.
