Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Super handsome...check, heart-winning smile...check, forever home to love me to pieces...hhhmmm? My name is Oliver Bodie, but you can call me Ollie. I am a 1yr old, 50lb, boxer/hound mix. I am a man of many talents...from house and crate trained, to catching food in the air. I'm fabulous and am on the search for an equally fun and fabulous forever home! I am a fantastic cuddle bug. I am totally content to just curl up beside you on the couch. I am great with dogs who are smaller than me (I don't like the bigger ones so much) and kids over 10 years old. I have never been around cats so I'm not sure on those. I still have some puppy tendencies so my family should have patience and be willing to teach me how to be the very best adult dog I can be! I love my people and will follow them anywhere. I just love when we get to go for car rides together! I'm so ready to meet the people/person of my dreams and live happily ever after, if that is you, fill out that application!
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*

*Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home.
