My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trixie is a 9-month-old blue heeler from Texas. She arrived in Washington on 9-10-18 via Project Freedom Ride. She’s very sweet and has a ton of cattle dog energy. She’ll need a family with a active lifestyle. She has been friendly with all people and dogs she’s met so far. Trixie hasn’t been around young kids playing, but was calm when introduced to an 11-year-old. She gave him a couple licks. She’s seen cats in another room through a baby gate. She's curious and will watch them but doesn’t bark or whine. She’ll find something else to do after a minute if the cats being boring and just sitting there. She’s only barked when been playing and excited. She loves running and playing with other dogs. She rides great in the car. If the older dogs tell her to get lost, she responds well and goes an find something else to do. She would benefit from obedience classes so she can work on basic skills (sitting, not jumping). Trixie is microchipped, vaccinated and scheduled to be spayed on 8-27-18. She’s being fostered in Skagit County and her adoption fee is $330. Videos of our foster dogs are on YouTube: bit.ly/2xnKAfz.
