Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Milo is an approximately 8 month old border collie mix. He is marked like a border collie, but he's so small! Milo currently weighs just under 22 pounds.
Milo came to us from a family in Utah that no longer wanted him. They gave no reason, just wanted him gone. So we got him out of there.
Milo is crate trained and we are working on housetraining. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. We do not know how Milo is with cats.
Milo would benefit from some training. His worst habit is jumping up on people and he does it with enthusiasm! Therefore a home without small children or fragile adults would be best.
Please note: This is a fairly high energy dog that will require daily exercise. Plus he is VERY athletic. He can jump on to a kitchen counter in one leap...yes, he has done that. We are working on his house manners! His foster mom feels he would be a good candidate for almost any dog sport. He would excel at jumping into his owners arms at the end of an agility course!
Milo can scale a 4 foot fence so you can't leave him outdoors when you are away. He wants to be with you! A 6 foot fence would be best and/or supervision while outdoors.
The best thing about Milo is once he gets to know you, he wants to cuddle! He loves people, can be timid at first but warms up quickly.
He will need a home committed to providing him training and continued socialization. Someone who is willing to help him reach his full potential.
