Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a big Don Juan heart throb ready to steal your love with my charm and handsomeness! I don't go up for adoption often, but when I do I melt hearts!
Let me tell you about myself, I'm 2-3 yrs old, I might be a hound/boxer mix, my mama didn't really tell me. I strayed from home one day and couldn't find my way back and some nice people came to my rescue. I'm a casual laid back fellow, medium energy and will be good inside the house and enjoy walks and playing in a secure yard. I get along well with other dogs. I love everyone (except those pesky cats) and a lady canine housemate would be the ultimate. I've had professional training to learn basic commands, I will take your loving treats gently and am still perfecting my leash and door manners. I must have had a famous explorer in my DNA, as I like roam and have climbed 6' fences to see the world. If I have a patient family who will love me forever, I shall grow to be content at home in time. Even the most interesting dog in the world isn't perfect.
My free spirit doesn't like crates or kennels but I can be trusted in your house. My sniffer will take me off course before I know it so I can't go exploring off leash. I would do best with older kids since I'm fit and strong. The group who saved me from the doggy jail gives FREE training support to my new family.
Donny Juan is vaccinated, neutered, housetrained and microchipped, his adoption fee is $150. This sweet boy is so ready to share his love, if you'd like to meet Donny, please email adopt@canineswithacause.org or call 801-792-1737 we can set up a meet & greet. We adopt to the north/central Utah region.
