My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jitzu is a male Pomeranian who came to us in Puerto Rico on 9/5/18 after 3-4 years with his first owner who passed away and about 6 years with his second owner who surrendered him to us because she could no longer financially care for him properly.

He is 10.5 lbs, neutered (on 9/7), teeth cleaned, microchipped and 4Dx negative. He has been on flea/tick prevention and clavamox for a skin condition believed to be a hot spot or irritation from being so matted before he was groomed the day he came into our care. The hot, humid climate is also not for dogs with coats like his so being in Utah will greatly help him out with that.

He has been around lots of dogs while with us, different breeds, sizes, ages and genders and done well with them all. He is newly neutered so he wears a belly band to keep him from marking and with consistent training he should loose this habit within 6-8 weeks after the neuter date. He is housebroken otherwise. He is vocal as most Poms are but he's a mellow guy that loves his walks or sleeping with you on the couch or your bed! He is NOT a crate dog, meaning he gets very stressed out in a crate and suffers from separation anxiety in one. He loves to be by your side and as a senior dog that's been through 2 owners already, we need to find him a permanent, loving home to live out the rest of his awesome life with someone who is home most of the day.
