Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I received a call in July about a stray dog that had a litter of puppies behind their barn. The dog had disappeared for a day and when she came back the next day she was limping. They were worried that she had been hit by a car and they could not afford a vet bill. So I went to their home and caught the dog and her puppies. I took them to the vet. The dog had been shot! The bullet had gone through her shattering her shoulder on the way out. Yet, the injured Mom still took care of her 8 puppies. The Mom appears to be a Sheltie/Pomeranian mix but I do not know who the Dad was so I have no idea what his breed was.
The puppies are now old enough to be adopted. They were born on June 27, 2018. They are typical active puppies. They have been vaccinated and wormed. Each one has a different personality.
This is Killer, but he's not. I call him that because he's too big for his britches. He isn't afraid of anything. We have a senior Beagle. The other puppies will bark at him and if Spanky growls they run away. Not Killer. He sits back and just keeps barking.
Sometimes, if the other puppies are playing, Killer will just sit and watch them as if he's in deep thought. He's going to be very smart. He already is.
