ADOPTED 4/20/09! - Max is an exceptionally nice young man! He comes to us as an owner surrender. Said to be three years old. All four declawed and neutered. Shot history unknown. Social, friendly, loving and alert. Loves to be held. Is a real nuzzler and rubber. Purrs easily. Likes to have his black silky hair brushed. Max needs an owner that wants an active and involved cat. He wants a lot of love and gives it back too. Seems to do fine with dogs. Must be an indoor cat. As always, pound animals have a limited time. MUST BE ADOPTED BY APRIL 21, 2009. Your contact is a member of 4PAWS, a volunteer group working in partnership with the City of Harlan, Iowa. We're between Des Moines (90 miles west) and Omaha, NE (60 miles east) 11 miles north of I-80. Bonafide rescues and long term shelters are encouraged to contact us. We will assist with vetting and transport.
