My story

Hi! My name is Stella, and I am a spayed female pitbull, and I weigh about 65 pounds and am about 7.5 years old. My friends at Headin’ Home say I am a bright and energetic friend. I love to play with with most dogs.

I get along with most humans, but am pretty fearful around men! I am a very trustworthy companion and while I enjoy taking long walks, I also appreciate a good lazy day, sleeping in my foster mom's bed is my favorite thing!

I am currently in a foster home where I have live with 3 other big dogs and two medium size dogs.

Stella has completed a basic obedience training course and has learned basic commands.

An approved adoption application is required. The $185 adoption fee (payable by cash only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; and heartworm testing. Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
