Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tobin is one awesome aussie pup! He is a typically energetic and busy aussie pup, but at the same time, sensible and unflappable. Tobin can be found at the center of the action in his foster home--often choosing to plop down for his naps in the middle of the kitchen floor so he can still be a part of things. He greatly enjoys people, loves belly rubs, games of tug, chasing rolling balls, and taking walks. He is also willing to happily entertain himself on his own (although posssibly not always to your liking as he can find 101 things to get into!) He does very well with the adult aussies in his foster home--comfortable and playful with them, yet properly respectful. He is a quick learner who is food motivated.
Hearing all this about Tobin you may be surprised to find out that he is partially deaf and has some vision impairment. Tobin is from a merle to merle breeding which can result in auditory and visual difficulties. Tobin can hear loud sounds. He can hear human voices but cannot always tell where they are coming from. His distance vision is limited. Tobin is being trained with both auditory and hand signals. He knows sit, down and come. He walks nicely on leash, and is housebroken and crate trained. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped. Tobin's forever home should have a fenced yard, and an understanding of the mental and physical exercise needs of a herding breed. No children under 8 please. Please read the information on deaf dogs at www.deafdogs.org before requesting an application. Tobin is fostered in Durham, Connecticut. His videos can be seen at
