Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If I had only one wish... it would be that someone would fall in love with me and take me home so we could spend Christmas opening presents and dining together.
My name is Marshall. I've been waiting for a few months for a forever home. Today they put a big red collar on me and let me be SantaPaws! It sounded like a good deal to me as they gave me a little extra Fancy Feast as a reward. I will do pretty much anything for wet cat food! I can hear the wet food cupboard door open a mile away and I gallop right over! I love catnip too!
I am a 1-1/2 year friendly outgoing social guy. Everyone says I look like a black panther! I meow at the volunteers to let them know to let me out so I can greet them and go visit all the store customers. I like supervising the store, having my head petted and playing with the kittens. I was a bit wary of the other cats and dogs when I first arrived at the store. I had to stare down a few of the dominant males which worked as they left me alone. I've since gotten used to the other cats and they now let me hang out with the kittens, friendly females and younger male cats. I sometimes chase the kittens through the cat tunnel. We all sit watching people come to pet us. Occasionally, I have to remind the kids I'm not crazy about being picked up or having my tail pulled or bum rubbed. A few dogs that stop to visit seem ok but some scare me. I think I may be ok with a bigger calm one that respects my boundaries. As I prefer laying on the floor or in a chair by you, am not crazy being picked up and I'm not much of a lap cat, I think I would be best as a curious cat companion in a home with adults or older children.
I was rescued from the street by a nice lady who saw me outside hungry and dying of thirst. She gave me water and fed me. She tried to see if I had a home with no success so called for someone to help get me off the street. I'm so happy my days of starving are over.
If you are interested in adopting me, I am busy doing my best to spread the holiday cheer at the PetSmart Burlington at 1200 Brant street location or you can fill out an application: http://ninthlifecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/
