Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
APPLY TO ADOPT
Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?
It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.
After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.
If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.
After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
Schatzi came into the shelter as a severely matted and flea-ridden stray, found with 2 other dogs. She was cleaned up and looked and felt like a brand new dog!
She is settling in to her wonderful foster home, getting along well with dogs, cats and kids. Our little sweetheart is still learning that she won't be abandoned again and is very happy when her family is around to comfort her.
Schatzi is around 20 lbs and 13 years old, slow moving and very gentle.
She is brand new to us and we will update her photos and bio soon!
