Posted 5/9/08. April is a member of a litter of puppies that look nothing like her...she doesn't even look like her mother! One of the pics on here is April with her mother, Summer. April is about 5 months old and already weighs more than her mother. She weighed 24 pounds when she was spayed on 5/1/08. April's mother. Summer, weighed 18 pounds the same day. We expect that April will mature at around 35-40 pounds.

Summer and her 3 female puppies were dumped near someone's house and it took 2 weeks for them to catch all of them. They were not able to keep them due to having to go out of town for an extended period of time so they called us to see if we could take them and find them homes. We really don't have any idea what their breed mix could be, but there might possibly be border collie or australian cattle dog in the mix too.

April is the most submissive puppy in the litter and is very sweet. She is very timid like her sisters and does not have much confidence. She is very sweet and her litter mates tend to pick on her due to her more submissive nature. She is very gentle but, due to her lack of confidence, she is VERY timid when out of her comfort zone and meeting strangers. April also seems to be afraid of very small children so we recommend a home with no children under the age of 10. She will need someone who knows how to deal with a dog that has a lack of confidence and is willing to work with her as she does not adapt easily to new situations. This is her special need.

April is spayed and up to date with all vaccinations. She has been started on heartworm preventative as of 5/2/08. April's adoption fee is $90.
