Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Major #18-399. Arrived 8/28/2018 at 4-5 years old.
Two and a half years ago Major was surrendered to us, his owner had passed away. Now, Major has been surrendered again; his owner for the past 2 1/2 years was moving. You will notice how handsome and athletic Major is in some of our action shots. These were all taken while he was in the act of catching treats. We know he learned this is his previous home because he is very good at it! We can tell you that Major without a doubt has the bark of a German Shepherd, it resonates and distinguishes itself over all of the other dogs in our kennel! Major has not had any experience being around children, he has only lived with adults. Major knows sit, down, and come. Major has warmed up to the new people at the shelter, but his owner does state that he is protective of the home when visitors come to the door. Experience with a dog with this protective instinct would be needed and Major. Major will always be by your side as a very dedicated companion once the commitment has been made.
