Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Cocoa is a beautiful pup who was dropped of at our veterinarians office to be spayed and updated on vaccines, the owner never came back. They eventually gave up ownership and now we get to help this beauty find her forever home.

We met Cocoa today, she was very shy at first but by the time we left she was our best friend. She's been at the vets office for about a month, she has her bags packed and is ready to go home.

She has a beautiful coat and loves to run and chase toys. She gets along with all the animals at the vets office.

Cocoa is ready to come up to the New England area on September 15th.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.

We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
