My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ronnie is one happy pup! He loves to explore, exercise and go mountain biking! He stays by your side and listens when you call him. He enjoys getting puppy massages especially on his head and behind his ears. He plays well with other dogs but would love to be the center of attention at his forever home.

Ronnie wasn’t always so lucky. He was abandoned and left by his previous owners because he had a large tumor on his lower jaw. He sometimes feels unsure about getting out of the car, we think that he relates it to being abandoned.

Luckily Happy Tails Happy Homes discovered Ronnie! He has been through a lot in the last few weeks, he had surgery that removed half of his lower jaw making him tumor free! He discovered toys and loves to play. He had to be shaved to get all the fox tail thorns out of his skin. And he learned to trust humans again!

He is adapting well to eating and drinking water. Currently we still feed him soft food but he will be ready to eat hard food soon. He hasn’t been around children so we are not sure how he would be with them.

We think he would be happiest with someone who is very active, loving and will take him on lots of adventures!
