My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leo was found and no one ever claimed him. He was in good shape other than being high heartworm positive. Not to worry though, AAPRC had him treated and a small growth on his eyelid removed. Leo is a relaxed boy, happy with lounging around the house. He’s great with kids as you can see in his video. Leo has been introduced to a dog friendly cat in a fellow rescuers home. He didn’t react at all, mostly ignoring the cat. When he would come to Leo to check him out, Leo just watched him.

Leo was adopted in October and returned through no fault of his own. He is currently on a diet due to gaining about 20lbs in the 2 months he was in his new home. Leo needs an experienced adopter who will teach him his place in the family. He’s currently fostered in a home with other large dogs-he roams free during the day while his people are at work and does just fine. He will kennel if needed. Could you be Leo’s furever family??
