I am a beautiful chestnut colored fawn, with that mischievous and expressive black face. I was a little shy at first around my foster family, but after a week or so, my personality really started to shine. I am really a mellow girl. I LOVE people and follow my foster family around the house, always hanging out where they are. I can’t ever get enough cuddling, and like to play some, but I also know when it’s time to relax, and I really like my bed and can chill out with the best. I am not a super early riser, which makes my lazy foster dad very happy on weekends. My foster family thinks that of the 20 or so fosters they have taken in over the years, i may be the sweetest.
I know some great commands- sit, down, heel, come, no, off and stay. The trainer that worked with me really helped me learn to stay in control and mind my manners. I know not to climb up on beds and furniture and I am a gentle eater. I am easy to guide on the leash and enjoy being outside for long walks.
One of my favorite things is to help my foster mom pick out her clothes in the morning. I like to walk through and under the clothes to see all the choices. It is also a great way to have my back rubbed!
I am a very sweet girl looking for my forever paradise, and I would love to meet you. I have not had lots of experience with other dogs and would need some work to socialize; I am curious and can learn how to socialize. My foster family thinks I am just about the perfect pup. Gentle, friendly, loving and fun. I am perfect for a family with young kids or older kids or more mature folks would absolutely would love me.
