Max is a 45lbs Aussie/German shepherd mix who loves to have your attention and love. Max isn’t very interested in toys. We think he was never played with growing up. This does not dampen his happy go lucky spirit! He is always ready for a car ride. If he is close enough he will try and jump into the car every time the door is open. Max is a gentleman while riding in the car and just sleeps or looks out the window. He is very interested in chasing cats and playing too rough with other dogs, but totally ignores small dogs. He has been around human babies, pre-schoolers, and kindergartners all with no issues, however Max is high energy and would do best with older children only. He is protective of his home and his people but warms up to guests after being properly introduced. Max is shy when it comes to human men but will warm up in time. His favorite activities include sleeping on the bed with you, laying at your feet, walking you on a leash, and let us not forget marking his territory (outside of course)! All around Max is a pleasant lovable canine with a lot of heart and love to give. Please give him a chance to love your family.
