Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heidi was rescued from a high kill shelter literally at the last minute. Her foster mom went down to animal services to save a different dog, but when she saw Heidi she couldn’t leave her behind and left with both dogs. She is a big, sweet, goofy girl at 65lbs. She looks like a lab mix and is about 1.5 years old. Here are some notes from her foster mom:
Heidi is a sweet and loving girl. She plays well with her housemates and other dogs that we have encountered. She loves the cat and she loves attention. We are working on manners and some basic commands. Heidi sleeps on her bed on the floor next to my bed. She has been a bit skittish around some men, but allows them to pet her if they give her a minute. She hasn't had any accidents and knows to potty when i take her out. She can play rough with the others so would do well in a home with a similar age and weight dog.
Heidi does well with kids but would be best with older kids just because of her size and playfulness. She is spayed, chipped, vaccinated and hw negative. One by One Pet Rescue is a 501c3 non profit. We require a house with a fenced yard, where she will be an inside dog and won’t be left alone all day
