Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Delta is a Domestic Short Hair/Siamese mix, female, 4 months of age.
Delta - In contrast to her sister Blue, Delta is a jump-right-in, ask-questions-later kind of girl. A social butterfly – enthusiastic (about everything), friendly, and carefree with little awareness of possible dangers in the world, Delta won’t hesitate to initiate and welcome quick friendships with any and all. She is an extremely affectionate and loving kitten – a purr machine when being pet and cuddled.
Delta is fearless and sometimes even brash, an entirely engaging, upbeat, and joyously cheerful kitten – ever on the prowl to make playthings of whatever seems to be available in her environment. Delta really enjoys her toys and will happily play on her own with them, but one of her favorite activities is interactive play – among her favorites – feathered toys on sticks. Being that she is a kitten who is athletic, curious and looking for adventure means this sleek beauty will need family members who want to share and provide her with the time, attention, and vigorous interactive play activities she will need and thrive with.
Delta is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a low to moderately-active lifestyle. She will do fine in a home with other cats; well-mannered, cat-friendly dogs; and respectful kids of ages.
Delta is littermate of siblings Blue, Charlie, and Echo. We recommend a paired-adoption with brother, Charlie, who is similarly-suited in personality and temperament to Delta, although a pairing with any sibling would be an excellent choice and good fit.
As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.
Delta currently resides at Monroe SPCA's Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet her Tuesday - Thursday, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm; Friday and Saturday, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm; or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.
All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption.
Completed adoption applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA's Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W. Monroe St, Dundee, MI 48131.
