Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie is a Domestic Short Hair/Siamese-mix, male, 4 months of age.
Charlie – Extremely social and friendly kitten. A lot in personality like his sister, Delta, being fearlessly outgoing, confident, engaging, and quick to initiate and welcome friendship with all. An upbeat, cheerful, happy-go-lucky boy who won’t hesitate to jump-into (and initiate) ruff-n-tumble play sessions with other kittens or toys or sometimes even people.
Like most kittens, he’s active, curious, and looking for adventure wherever he can find it. Perfectly content to explore on his own, he enjoys independently prowling and stalking shadows, dust bunnies, toys, other kittens, whatever is available, but he also will want some vigorous interactive playtime with his people and toys.
Once the play sessions are done, Charlie will eagerly seek out or accept any loving attention offered. Truly a people-cat, he’s very loving and affectionate, and as much as he loves his toys and playtime, he’ll leave them behind in a second for any opportunity to snuggle. An easy-to-please and very happy kitten, Charlie is entirely comfortable being held and cuddled; he’ll show his appreciation with some serious purring and the sweetest, gentlest kitten kisses when in the arms or on the lap of his favorite people.
Charlie is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a low to moderately-active lifestyle. He will do fine in a home with other cats; well-mannered, cat-friendly dogs; and respectful kids of any age.
Charlie is littermate of siblings Blue, Delta, and Echo. We recommend a paired-adoption with sister, Delta, who is similarly-suited in personality and temperament to Charlie, although a pairing with any sibling would be an excellent choice and good fit.
As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.
Charlie currently resides at Monroe SPCA's Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet him Tuesday - Thursday, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm; Friday and Saturday, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm; or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.
All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption.
Completed adoption applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA's Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W. Monroe St, Dundee, MI 48131.
