Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Ain't nothin' but a hound dog ?" And ain't nothin' better than a hound dog!!! ? Jax is a very handsome hound looking for a loving family. He is about 2 years old, looks a lot like a foxhound and is such a great boy! He enjoys being around people , loves kids, and other dogs – it sure seems like he has never met a stranger.
He is currently in foster with a Great Pyrenees mix, a Dutch shepherd, and a chihuahua, and he plays nicely with all of them. As for cats, he seems utterly disinterested in them. Jax shows his affection by bringing his people, and his doggo friends, dog toys (or random objects that fell on the floor, just to let you know you dropped them). He plays very gently and loves to chill outside. Like many hounds, Jax has plenty of energy for walks, hikes, and playtime, but he’s also content to stretch out and take over the couch for a prolonged nap.
While he can be a bit vocal at times, he is by no means loud for a hound. Jax is already housetrained, rides well in the car, and is doing well learning how to sit, what more can you ask for in a new pet!
