Roc's ideal home would not include an apartment, as he gets stressed and bored at being cooped up. He would be great as a companion dog to another dog as he loves to have friends!
Roc is a TOTAL LOVEBUG. He would make a wonderful companion to any family dynamic, as a solo or as a part of a pack of pups, though if he were an only dog, he would require a very involved owner. His absolute favorite thing is making new friends at the rescue - human or canine. He is an easy going, social butterfly that has a mild, even temperament. He does very well with other dogs of any type of temperament. He is quite submissive. His former owner claimed he was a Lab/Dalmatian mix. While he is still a youngin' it's interesting to note that Roc does not have the kind of almost psychotic puppy energy we usually see in kids his age. He is approximately 50 lbs. He's actually very even tempered and polite! He is a very intelligent boy that learns quickly. He would make a wonderful best friend to any human and would even do well as an emotional support animal if given the opportunity. He does fine in a crate when there are other dogs around or for short term stretches. He travels well. He is proficient on a leash.
