Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie is a very smart and loving sweetheart. However, Sadie has a difficult time trusting other dogs. Sadie sometimes barks nervously when she meets new people but is very good after she gets to know you and will be very sweet and affectionate. Sadie enjoys going for walks with her walker in a quiet environment with no other dogs that may startle her. That being said, Sadie has a few dog friends at her doggy daycare that she loves to play with.
Sadie would fit best in a single pet household with no young children. She needs someone who can work with her and a trainer to overcome her fear reactivity responses. The good news is that Sadie loves learning new things so training should progress smoothly in a safe environment! She’s also very food motivated and loves getting treats! Her current adopter is willing to arrange slow introductions with potential adopters to get to know her true personality behind her anxiety. Her current dog walker is very eager to keep working with Sadie and will be happy to help ease the transition period for everyone involved.
Are you the person that Sadie will thrive with?
