My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An animal control officer from a local rural shelter brought Agnes to a vets office to be put to sleep as they said they were full and she was not getting along with some of the dogs. The staff at the vets office feel in love with Agnes as she loves everyone she meets. They did not have the heart to put her to sleep and reached out to a few rescues for help. We stepped up to take her on. When we were getting her vetted we found out she was heartworm positive. We decided to do a slow kill on her and 6 months later we got her rechecked and she is now negative. Agnes is a sweet girl but would do better being an only dog as she is a dominate female, she likes to be the boss. She also has an old injury to her back left leg you can see from one of the pictures. It has healed but she will favour it a bit from time to time so we are thinking she might have a bit of arthritis in it. She is fully vetted and micro chipped. She is now looking for a place to call home.
