Story/Description:
Johnny came into HLH’s care from a spay and neuter clinic a couple weekends ago! Although we cannot tell you what Johnny’s life was like before, we can definitely tell you what his life is like now!
Johnny is currently being fostered with cats, dogs and children, and he LOVES them all, especially the kids. He enjoys being snuggled and could just get pets and rubs all day. When Johnny gets excited he wags his tail like crazy & his butt wiggles too- it is quite funny to watch!
Our boy is pretty low energy so he likes calm walks along the beach but he is also up for an adventure. Johnny also thinks his four legged foster brother Doug is a pretty cool dude! They like to wrestle and chase each other around the yard! The odd time Johnny will get jealous when he sees Doug with a bone too so he will sneak up and steal it.. It seems like Johnny really likes hiding them in his bed (LOL)
Johnny is quite sensitive and gets really sad when he thinks he has done something bad. He will go to his bed, and lay there with a pouting face. His foster mom tells us he seems to need lots of reassurance and positive reinforcement. But man, does he ever like to make people happy! Johnny is a pleaser for his people, so if you are looking for a smart boy who wants nothing but to make you smile, look no further!
The ideal furever home for Johnny would be where he is the star of the show. He would love a home with kids, and someone that wants to walk him daily. The perfect family would be affectionate and would shower him with kisses and rubs. Johnny requires a home with patience so he can learns his basic commands as well.
