My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie Mae is an approx 1 year old, 21 lbs. mixed breed girl. She was scared and shutting down at the shelter and was put on the urgent list. She's now in a foster home making great progress with people and loves other friendly dogs. She will need a friendly canine companion in her new forever home to help her adjust; preferably one who is her size or smaller and not overly playful. She'll also need a female in the home, as she is still fairly timid around males. Lastly, she really would prefer a home with a secure fenced in yard as opposed to an apt. We know it seems like she needs a lot, but once she's comfortable, she's low maintenance and easy going. She's just a sweet timid girl wondering what's going to happen next. Ellie Mae is looking for a home and family who can show/teach her that she's finally safe and will never be dumped in a scary shelter ever again. Ellie Mae is dog and cat friendly and potty trained, although she'll need a refresher in a new home with a new routine. She knows how to use a doggie door as well. Ellie Mae’s adoption fee is $325.00 - Ellie Mae is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, HW- and chipped. No chickens in Ellie's new home please.
