Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Updated December 2019:
Lilly and her sister, Bella, are special little girls. Their previous owner neglected to provide the vaccines needed to protect them from the parvo virus... When they started having symptoms he did bring them to the vet... But when the diagnosis of parvo was confirmed, he chose to euthanize them instead of starting medical treatment... But obviously that's not where this story ends...
Our wonderful doctors and vet team couldn't let that happen and they convinced the man to surrender ownership of them to the vet team, and the girls were immediately started on life-saving medications. Their strong spirits helped pull them through!! Today, they are happy and healthy... very playful and enjoying life at our foster farm...
They are 21-month old hound/bulldog/terrier mixes and weigh about 45 lbs... They're spayed, microchipped, up to date with vaccines, and are on flea/heartworm prevention... The girls were getting help with crate-training and leash walking while at the animal clinic.. but will need some support and a good routine to get fully house-trained in your home.. (Lilly is a bit more calm and the more confident of the two. She loves attention and affection and wants to be someone's best friend.)
Like any other pup, there will be a bit of a learning curve and transition for her.. She loves food and people - should respond to training with treats! If you'd like to meet Lilly, please call/text Jody at 352-316-5155.
