My story

Hello beagle friends! My name is Betsy and I am a loving beagle-mix female that was surrendered to a shelter in South Carolina because my previous owner had too many dogs. I was rescued from the shelter and sent to a foster home down South until transport to Penny Angels was available. My brother, Parker, was also rescued by Penny Angels and already found his new home. I recently arrived in NJ and will be at Petsmart in Mays Landing, NJ on Saturday from 11-3 pm. Will my new family be waiting for me?

I am approx. 3 years old and weigh 30 lbs. I love everyone- people AND other dogs! I am a very active girl and would do best in a home with an active family. I get excited when it is time for me to go for a walk, so I will need some help with leash-walking. Despite my active nature, I love to sleep on the sofa. In fact, that is probably one of my favorite things to do! I hope we can snuggle together and be best buddies! Remember to visit me at PetSmart if you are interested in adopting me!
