Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
For more information on Dory please fill out an application at www.caretx.org/adopt and we will contact you.
Meet Dory, a few months ago Dory was dumped at the city shelter by her family because they said she had "grown too big". The shelter didnt offer her much hope and before long her time was up. On her last day someone emailed CARE about this sweet girl and we hurried to pick her up. Since then Dory has been with foster families which has given us plenty of time to get to know her. We learned that Dory loves kids and playing fetch with her toys. She is housebroken and is adjusting to being crate trained. She gets along well with dogs her size but would prefer to aviod tiny dogs and cats. She is energetic and sweet and is hoping to find a family that loves her no matter how big she gets! (Dory is full grown at 2 years old and weighs about 47lbs.)
This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. The adoption fee of $750 covers spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, health certificate, and air transport. Please email adoptions@caretx.org or call Jenna at 210-422-9367.
