My story

Mona is a 3 year old chihuahua/terrier mix who had a rough start to life, but you would never know it by her huge smile and happy go lucky personality. Mona and her 3 babies were found by a good samaritan in a rough area of Houston, Texas. We know she’s a smart and loving dog for keeping herself and babies safe until they were rescued. Now that she’s in the comfort and safe haven of a foster home, she enjoys playing with her foster parents and other dogs. She loves meeting new people, including kids! Mona loves everyone. If you’re looking for a social butterfly that’s ready to learn new tricks, then Mona is definitely the girl for you! She’s already learning come and sit, but the "come" command was an easy one since all she wants is to be near her human companions. She’s retired from motherhood and ready to be someone’s best friend! If you’re ready for a lot of kisses and playtime, look no further! Mona is around 16 pounds and won’t grow any bigger. **This dog is currently in her foster home in Houston, Texas.
