Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Finn's start to life wasn't the best one. Thanks to a good samaritan, Finn was rescued off a property that was using him as a breeder dog. He rarely knew the comfort of a home, was shown very little love and spent a majority of his life on a chain. His saving angel made sure that he was vetted, neutered and has helped get him ready for his new home.
Finn can be a bit aloof when you first meet him. But if you are willing to throw a ball, he will be your constant shadow. Finn LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to play fetch. He will play fetch all day if you give him the opportunity. We think that may have been the only joy he had while living on a chain.
Like some shepherds, Finn can be protective at times. He is quicker to accept and is more protective of women. His current home has been working with him and with some correction, he is fine. He will absolutely need a strong handler with previous german shepherd experience. Finn is currently living with two young children but with his activity level, a home with older children would be better. Finn is dog friendly so meet and greets would be necessary. Finn is part of our Owner Referral program.
