Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SKIPPY is a handsome, loving, happy, 6 month old Labrador Retriever male pup born from a pregnant Labrador Retriever Momma we rescued from a high kill shelter. A calm boy for his age, Skippy is smart, submissive, sweet, playful & fun. He is a love bug, and when you kiss his face, he lifts his head and closes his eyes, just absorbing in the affection. Skippy has amazing attention for a pup his age, and his eyes flow with love at his special human ... he makes a deep connection and orients strongly to a person. (An unusual trait for a pup so young) The entire litter is calmer & more self contained/mature in personality that most pups. Skippy is a young puppy so a family with no children under the age of 6 yrs old is preferred. Skippy has been de-wormed, had all 4 rounds of puppy vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, microchipped, crate-trained and semi-house-trained. (Skip is not neutered, as he is still too young, and research cautions against too early of spay/neuter and it's associated chronic health issues in mid to later canine life). This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescue dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
