My story

Meet Matilda!

Matilda was found as a stray and brought into the ADORE program. She is estimated to be about 2-3 years old and weighs a small 41 lbs. Matilda is very calm and very shy initially. She is nothing but a sweetheart and once she is comfortable, she will very gently give you kisses. She seems to do better with another dog to help her adjust to a new environment and we recommend her going into a home with another dog. Once she knows your routine, she will be a perfect and affectionate pup. We had a group of teenage volunteers helping to walk and bathe dogs and she did well with them. She was gently giving them kisses once they let her warm up to such a large group of people. We have not seen her with cats yet, but we can test her for any interested adopter or foster!

Matilda is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
