My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Romeo was dumped along with is brother on a county road in Heartford, AL where a good Samaritan picked them up and contacted VFCR. Romeo got his namesake because even thought he was very scared, he immediately gave my mom kisses!! Romeo is going to take a little work as he has some fear issues due to not being socialized, however we are enrolling him in a puppy class to try and fix some of that and teach him some basic training. He is fearful at younger children (under 4) and will growl at them, however he does wonderfully with older children and loves to play with them! He is good with other dogs, however it does take him several days to warm up to them. Once he does he is so sweet and loving. We are working on house training and he is kennel trained.
