My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sampson is an adorable 2-year old Yorkie who weighs about 10 lbs and is being fostered in the Chicago area. His previous owner passed away and Sampson is learning to adjust to life without her.
Sampson is smart, sensitive, and sweet, but cautious in new surroundings. He gets along well with other small dogs and children. He loves to play with toys, give kisses, and cuddle at night. He's getting used to wearing a harness and taking walks and is working on his crate training skills. He loves treats and is very food motivated!
Sampson needs an experienced owner who can continue to work with him on basic training and socialization. He would love to attend obedience class, as this would help build his confidence and help him overcome a few insecurities. Sampson is house trained, but may have accidents while acclimating to a new routine. Sampson will need a knowledgeable owner who is patient, loving, and will provide a positive environment.
Sampson is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He will require a completely fenced in backyard, no exceptions.
