My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota came to us as a failed therapy dog. Her previous owner said she was too energetic to be a service dog and that was the reason he had gotten her. She is a purebred white husky and her adopters will get her AKC registration papers. She will be 2 years old in November. Dakota will need an owner who has had huskies before or is educated on the Husky breed. She will also need a home with a fenced yard as she will run off if she gets loose. She is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes, however she can play rough at times. She also loves kids! Dakota has an eating issue. She does not like to eat and because of that she can get very thin very quickly. We have found a food that she likes, but will need an adopter that is willing to keep her on the food she is currently on, which is more pricey that your normal food. She is currently located in Enterprise, AL however for the right adopter we will transport her anywhere. She is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on her shots.
