8/21/18~ Mr. Jingles is a great looking guy that is about 5 years old. He is a purebred British Shorthair. He was purchased from a breeder about 3 months ago and his new owner found out she wasn't a cat person. Mr. Jingles loves attention from his people and likes to be up and about. He does well with other cats after a slow introduction but we aren't sure how he will do with dogs. Because he had lived most of his lifes in a breeder facility, we would not recommend a very active home with children for him. Older children and adults would be best. He is a real cuddle bug and just wants to soak up all the attention he can get.
Mr. Jingles is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and neutered. His adoption fee is $150.

HOW TO MEET: Our cats/kittens are housed in foster homes and we do not currently have a public location for cats/kittens to be visited during normal business hours. We currently hold adoption events twice a month at local pet stores. The first event each month is held the second Sunday at the Taylor Pet Supplies Plus located at 22124 Ecorse Rd, Taylor, MI 48180. Our second adoption event each month is held the last Sunday of the month at the Woodhaven Pet Supplies Plus located at 19295 West Rd, Woodhaven, MI 48183. We ask that you DO NOT contact Pet Supplies Plus about our animals. They are kind enough to provide space for our adoption events, but are not involved with our rescue work. Please email us if there is a specific kitten/cat you would like to meet to be sure they will be at the adoption event. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ANIMAL YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION EVENT.
IMPORTANT: In order to adopt or for special arrangements be made to meet a cat/kitten, an application MUST be completed and approved. Once submitted, a volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 3 business days of application, but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions fully on the application, then your application will not be processed. Friskie Felines MI does NOT adopt animals out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Instead, we adopt animals to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs and personality. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
