My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Akela and her siblings were brought into care after one of our volunteers had seen a post on a local pet page. A concerned resident had been monitoring, feeding and caring for them the best she could hoping mom or someone would return for them. When mom didn’t return after a few weeks, she knew they needed more help than she could give them and reached out for help. It was only a matter of time before they started exploring outside the yard and with the busy roads surrounding them in every direction fate wasn’t really on their side.
Akela was the last kitten we’d caught, she wasn’t 100% sure about these humans trying to save her. She has since realized she’s living the good life and sure to show her appreciation with lots of love, snuggles and leg rubs. She plays with her siblings but content soaking up some cuddles from her human and happily entertains herself with her toys.
