I rescued Melvin and Molly 2 years ago. They lived in an abusive home with 15 other cats. They were screamed at and had things thrown at them. The woman who owned them got lung cancer and die. We found homes for all the cats and because it was so hard finding homes I chose to keep Melvin and Molly. They were very scared and it took several months to gain their trust but I did. They are now wonderful loving companions. Molly loves living in my bedroom just waiting for me to go to sleep so she can cuddle. She’s a very gentle mellow cat. Melvin is more energetic and when he gets affectionate he will jump up and high five you with his entire body. Sadly, I cannot keep them. Because Melvin is playful he chases my meeker female cat (she hates it) so my male cat chases Melvin with the intent to harm him. It’s become very stressful in my home and for everyone’s safety and well being I need to find them a home of their own. They are wonderful cats and deserve to have a home where they are loved and cared for. They’ve had a tough life and deserve a break. They are about 5 years old, neutered and spayed, vaccinated and negative for leukemia and aids. They will be best in an adult quiet home with no small children. Please let them finally have a home of their own. Please call 845-634-0345.
