My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sydney is an approximately 14 month old Whippet mix who’s fixed, UTD on shots, and microchipped. She’s dog, kid, cat, and other furry animal friendly. LARC requires a meet and greet prior to adoption with any animals and children in the home.



Sydney graduated from the 9th session of the program, but sadly, didn’t get adopted. She almost had a forever family, but they backed out right before she was supposed to go home. We just don’t know why she’s still in rescue! Sydney is such a sweet loving girl who is full of energy and has quite the personality. She has become the “dorm mascot” and everyone loves her at the work camp. Sydney needs an active family with a fenced yard who will play with her and give her ‘lots of belly rubs. She has done well in training and has come a long way in learning manners. She’s a great girl. She graduated from the last session fully obedience trained, AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) ready, and PhD in Canine Life and Social Skills (CLASS) ready. We expect her to pass her tests again. Sydney is house/kennel trained.
