Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cheerio is a domestic shorthair (DSH), male, 5 months of age, DOB: (5/8/18).
Cheerio is an incredibly sweet and gentle little guy, who wants nothing more than to snuggle up into your arms! He loves attention and isn't afraid to show it. He is extremely quick to purr and show affection to anyone giving him attention. Cheerio will seek his "special" person out whenever he is ready to be held, cuddled, and kissed (always)! He'd surely make a great companion for anyone looking for a kind and affectionate kitten!
When he isn't looking for human attention, Cheerio does enjoy exploring the many nooks and crannies of his environment and playing with the other kittens, sometimes ruff-n-tumble and sometimes just sweetly gentle. A cheerful, loving, and confident kitten, he will likely do well in a cat-friendly household with a dog he has been properly introduced to.
Cheerio is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for just about any household with a low to moderately-active lifestyle.
As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.
Cheerio currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet him Tuesday – Thursday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm; Friday and Saturday, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm; or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.
All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption.
Completed adoption applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W. Monroe St, Dundee, MI 48131.
