Mabel is an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd Mix. She is Brown, White and Merle With the most adorable docked tail. Mabel is 1 year old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 40 lbs.
Mabel is a sweet and cuddly girl! As soon as she meets you she can't stop wagging her little stub! Then Mabel gets down to business and flops over on the ground and expects lots of belly rubs, which are her favorite thing in the world. She loves to cuddle up right beside you on the couch or bed and take naps. When Mabel see's you walk over and are about to sit down she scoots her butt towards you and looks up at you and waits until you sit down. She likes to crawl right beside you as close as possible and fall asleep. She also loves to go for car rides and just sits there looking out the window and taking in the scenery or sprawling out in the back seat taking a nap. She is such a wonderful dog with a very sweet personality all she wants is someone to give her belly rubs and take naps with her.
Mabel would do well in any household. She loves everyone she meets including adults, kids and other dogs. She loves to snuggle up with anyone who will let her, so if you have smaller children who just love to take naps with a soft and cuddly doggie she is your girl! She loves to be around a family and enjoys meeting lots of new people so family BBQ's would be a great place to show her off!
Mabel is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
