Hello there! My name is Melanie, and I'm a sweet, quiet, and reserved petite slate gray DSH gal with white tuxedo markings and big green eyes who was born about June 2011. As you can see from the attached video, I solicit affection, head scratches, and tummy rubs from my foster mom when she comes to visit me in the foster cat room.
I was rescued from an apartment parking lot the day before I gave birth to my three kittens, Bow, Arrow, and Feather. I was an excellent mama, and now that they are weaned, we all need our forever homes. I'm uncomfortable with new people, other animals, and new places, so it took me a while to get adjusted to my foster home, but now I get along great with the other kitties in the foster room. I still don't like noise because it startles me, so I probably would not be good in a home with rambunctious young children, although well-behaved older children should be fine.
I'm looking for a patient adopter who will allow me to adjust to my new digs. As you can see from the video, once I've warmed up to you, I'm yours! Please arrange to meet me today!
Melanie is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.
