Here's what the humans have to say about me:
KLAWS community, we'd like to introduce you to Willow, a beautiful kitty who is 2 years young. This very special girl is looking for a home of her own. Willow is the Mom to Rusty and Violet (both adopted). The person who contacted us about Willow told us that the year before she was born in the very same backyard as her babies. Willow and her babies were lucky enough to have been brought into our care, only because we had a foster available, so we could keep them safe and so their new lives could begin. That has happened in spades for Rusty and Violet, so we are now hoping it can happen for Willow.
When Willow first arrived in foster care she was understandably frightened. She would constantly be looking for a place to hide and was afraid that humans would harm her. She has come a long way, and we feel what is in her best interest is getting her a home of her own, so she can become the kitty she is meant to be. She is still skittish but no longer tries to hide or run away. She now knows that the touch of a human is not meant to harm but meant to bring her pleasure and we know she will continue to grow each day. She needs a person who with have patience and a home that is quiet and will love her into the special kitty she is meant to be. She survived all on her own, for over a year, so we know she has a lot to offer her human. She will do best in a home that is calm and predictable and dog free.
We know Willow just needs someone that can see how special she is. Someone that will take a chance on loving her. She is waiting patiently for someone to see she is more than just a stray cat, to see that she is ready to give you her trust and love, in her own time. With time and patience Willow will continue to grow into the gentle, loving, kitty that she has shown us she is.
