My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Freddie! My DOB is 2/21/11. I'm a super sweet and loving boy (if I do say so myself). I'm deaf - but that doesn't slow me down at all! The staff and volunteers at Mackenzie's have worked hard to help me learn signals for commands and help me adjust to new things. Because I'm deaf, it takes me a little longer to feel comfortable with new people - a quiet home with older kids or a lower activity level would be best for me. I've had some canine playmates at MAS (but can be a little picky), and did well on my cat introduction. Like I said - being deaf doesn't slow me down! I've participated in some 5K runs and done well - both running with my friends and enjoying the day outside!
