How is this PERFECT dog still in rescue? He is great with cats, all size dogs, kids, EVERYONE!
Amos came to the Colorado St. Bernard Rescue because his owners were no longer able to take care of him. He had a great life with them and now he is looking for another family to continue to spoil him.
He has lived with many cats in the past and currently lives with cats, small dogs and big dogs. He is great with them.
Since this is his first time being away from his original family, he is still adjusting. Amos does well left along in the house, does not need to be crated, he is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door.
He knows sit, lay down, and go to bed. He walks very well on a leash and will need a family that will take him on short walks to help him lose some weight. He needs to lose about about 30 lbs.
Since his is Saint/Great Pyrenees mix, he does like to bark so he will need someone to continue to remind him that barking is not allowed. His foster family has been working with him on that and he is making great progress.
If you are looking for a very sweet, BIG boy, that gets along with everyone, then this is your boy!
