Meet Oreo and Bella! Oreo (male) and Bella (female) are 4 year old Dachshund/Australian Shepherd mixes who weigh about 35lbs. They are siblings who were adopted as puppies together and returned four years later because the kids in the home went to college and the parents didn't want the responsibility anymore. They are a bonded pair who must be adopted together.
They are great with kids, dogs, cats. They just need some time to warm up to new animals/ people. Bella loves to chew on a rope, the bigger the better! She will also play fetch with a tennis ball for a bit. Oreo loves to play catch, but will not fetch and has started to enjoy a bit of tug of war with his humans. Bella also loves a good run, while Oreo enjoys a walk, - he is the lazy one.
They love being outside! They love to go to the dog park. They also love walks and anything outdoors. At home they are quite lazy and very cuddly!! Bella loves attention but will let her brother push her out the way, which he attempts to do every chance he gets! Oreo definitely needs more human contact than his sister. They are super sweet!
They are house and leash trained. Also great on a leash, Bella will pull a little more but only because shes excited to explore! The only time they have had accidents is during thunder storms because they are scared of thunder and refuse to go outside! Oreo is learning to play with a ball. They are kinda scared of new toys but learning to adjust and play.
They will need a forever home with someone willing to share their bed with two cuddly pups, up for lots of snuggles and regular walks.
Oreo and Bella are spayed/neutured, microchipped, and current on their vaccines. Their adoption fee is $250 (for the two of them).
