My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chunk is a 5-7 year old Pitbull/Basset Hound Mix (yes, he as cute as he sounds). He loves to play fetch, cuddle, sunbathe, swim in the ocean, car rides, and run around in the yard (if you have one), otherwise he is perfectly fine hanging out inside or on a patio. He is crate trained, house trained, knows basic and intermediate to advanced behavioral commands (ask for permission to go in and out of rooms, crate and house, stay on home base until food is ready then back to home base, pull-free walks, etc.). He is a real lover and very loyal to his person and needs to be an only dog in a household without any other pets or children. The perfect home for him would be with an experienced, responsible dog owner that understands behavioral issues like food-based guarding/intensity, especially when other dogs are present, and has a tendency to have a 'guard dog' disposition. He's a fun loving spunky dog that also knows how to lounge and eat like a pro. We hope to find him the perfect home
